How to Use the AWS ARN Parser
Step 1: Paste Your ARN
Paste one AWS ARN, or multiple ARNs (one per line) into the input box.
Step 2: Review the Breakdown
Each ARN is split into its components: partition (aws, aws-cn, aws-us-gov), service, region, account ID, resource type, and resource ID. Global services like S3 and IAM commonly leave region blank, which is expected and shown as such.
Step 3: Copy What You Need
Click the copy icon next to any field — like Account ID or Resource ID — to copy just that value without the rest of the ARN.
Step 4: Spot Invalid ARNs
Lines that do not match the arn:partition:service:region:account-id:resource format are flagged with an error instead of a breakdown, so you can quickly catch typos or malformed strings in a batch.
