What Gets Formatted
- Space indentation — All indentation is replaced with spaces at the selected size, with level tracked by
{and}braces - Brace on same line — A standalone
{on its own line is merged onto the end of the preceding line (SwiftFormat style) - Operator spacing — Spaces are normalized around common operators:
=,==,!=,<=,>=,->,??,&&,||,+=,-=,*=,/=
Tips
- Use the example buttons to test with real Swift snippets
- Operator spacing normalization uses heuristics and skips comment lines
- The formatter handles common patterns; for production code use
swiftformatdirectly
