How to Use the SQL to CSV Converter
Step 1: Copy Your SQL Result
Run your SQL query and copy the formatted table output from the terminal:
- psql (PostgreSQL):
psql -c "SELECT * FROM users" - MySQL / MariaDB:

Step 2: Paste and Convert
Paste the raw terminal output (including the separator lines) into the input field. The tool auto-detects the format and converts immediately.

Step 3: Copy or Download the CSV
Click Copy CSV to copy the output to your clipboard, or Download .csv to save a file.
The output format badge (e.g. "PostgreSQL (psql)") shows the detected input format, along with the row and column count.

Tips
- Include the separator line when pasting psql output — it is used for format detection
- The
(N rows)footer line from psql is automatically ignored - The
