Basic Pomodoro Workflow
Start a Work Session
- Click the "Start" button to begin your first Pomodoro
- The timer displays your remaining work time (default: 25 minutes)
- Timer updates every second in large, easy-to-read format
- Work with full focus until the timer completes
Work Session Completes
- Audio alert plays when time is up
- Notification shows on screen
- Timer automatically switches to break mode
- Your completed session is recorded
Take a Short Break
- Short break timer starts automatically (default: 5 minutes)
- Use this time to rest, stretch, or grab water
- Stay away from work-related activities
- Timer alerts you when break is over
Continue the Cycle
- After break, timer switches back to work mode
- Continue completing Pomodoros
- Session counter tracks your progress
- Visual indicators show completed sessions
Long Break Time
- After 4 completed work sessions, take a long break
- Long break timer starts automatically (default: 15 minutes)
- Use this for a meal, walk, or complete mental reset
- Cycle restarts after long break

- Pause: Temporarily stop the countdown

- Stops timer at current time

Skip Button
