How to Use Extract PDF Pages Tool

Step 1: Upload PDF File

Click the upload area or drag and drop your PDF file. You can upload:

• Single PDF - Select one PDF file to extract from
• File limits - Up to 50MB file size, maximum 100 pages

The tool will automatically generate thumbnail previews of all pages.

Step 2: Review Page Thumbnails

Once uploaded, you will see thumbnail previews of every page in your PDF:

• Each page is displayed as a thumbnail image
• Pages are numbered for easy identification
• All pages start unselected

Step 3: Select Pages to Extract

Choose which pages you want to extract:

• Select a Page - Click on any page thumbnail
• Selected pages show a blue border and checkmark overlay
• Deselect a page - Click the page again to remove selection
• Select All - Click the "Select All" button to choose all pages
• Clear Selection - Click "Clear Selection" to deselect all pages
• Stats bar shows how many pages are currently selected

You must select at least one page to extract.

Step 4: Extract and Download

Click "Extract Pages" to create your new PDF:

• Creates a new PDF containing only the selected pages
• Downloads as filename_extracted.pdf
• Original file remains unchanged
• All formatting and quality preserved
• Pages appear in the same order as the original

• Preview First - Review all thumbnails before selecting pages
• Stats Bar - Check the stats bar to see selection count
• Multiple Pages - You can select any combination of pages
• Page Order - Extracted pages maintain their original order
• Quick Selection - Use "Select All" then deselect unwanted pages
• Quality - The extracted PDF maintains original quality and formatting
• File Naming - Output file automatically named with _extracted suffix

Common Workflows

Extract First 5 Pages:

1. Upload PDF
2. Click pages 1-5
3. Click "Extract Pages"

Extract Every Other Page:

1. Upload PDF
2. Click pages 1, 3, 5, 7, etc.
3. Click "Extract Pages"

Extract Multiple Sections:

1. Upload PDF
2. Select pages from different sections (e.g., 1-3, 10-12, 20-25)
3. Click "Extract Pages"
